Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with them. She began reviewing in late 2009 and after gaining some status on the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and began to gain a following on the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the network's family of movie critics. Her appearances have included a variety on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of Channel Awesome's family along with Doug Walker.
